Storage usage card
The Storage Usage card at the top left of the dashboard displays the total storage consumed by all indexed sources in your organization. The figure reflects the size of the original files on disk, not preview caches or cloud copies.Storage usage updates after each completed scan. If you recently connected and
scanned a large drive, allow the scan to finish before expecting the total to
reflect the new content.
File breakdown card
Next to the storage card, the File Breakdown card shows how your files are distributed across media types, photos, videos, audio files, documents, and other formats. Each category displays a count and percentage of your overall library. Use this to get a quick sense of your library’s composition. If a category looks unexpectedly large or small, it may indicate a drive that hasn’t been scanned yet or a source that needs to be removed.Recent files
The Recent Files section beneath the cards shows the files most recently added to the catalog, typically the results of your last drive scan. Files appear as thumbnails in chronological order, newest first. Click any thumbnail to open the file in the file browser. This is a quick way to jump straight to new footage after scanning a drive without navigating through the full source tree.Sources overview
Below Recent Files, the Sources section lists every source known to your organization, connected drives, disconnected drives, and source groups. Each entry shows the source name, connection status, and storage size.Connected
The drive is physically attached and its files are fully accessible for opening, exporting, and editing.
Disconnected
The drive is offline. Metadata and thumbnails remain searchable, but original files cannot be opened until the drive is reconnected.
